Omni-channel and selection of e-fulfilment logistics

Every company should consider an omni-channel strategy
Because of the strong growth of e-commerce, every company needs an omni-channel strategy. This can be business-to-business or business-to-consumer deliveries. In order to make such deliveries possible, an e-fulfillment operation is required. 

Relevant questions are:

  • can the e-fulfillment operation be integrated into the existing logistics operation or should it be separate;
  • can the e-fulfillment operation be done in-house or can this better be outsourced;
  • which service providers could carry out the e-fulfillment operation.

 

E-fulfillment is about being able to react fast
